Amandine oversees the research and analysis for ClimateWorks' projects, looking at what opportunities exist in Australia to reduce carbon emissions, what the associated costs and benefits are, and how we can accelerate their implementation. Amandine coordinated modelling work from CSIRO, ANU and ClimateWorks for the 'Pathways to Deep Decarbonisation in 2050' project and oversaw the analysis behind the 'Tracking Progress' report series, the first national stock take of Australia's progress towards a low carbon economy.
Amandine also has extensive expertise in the industrial sector. She led the 'Industrial Energy Efficiency Data Analysis' project that created a detailed knowledge base on energy use, energy savings potential and factors impeding implementation for Australia's industrial companies, and is leading ongoing analyses on the financial value of energy efficiency for industrial companies.
Prior to joining ClimateWorks, Amandine worked as a management consultant for McKinsey and Company in Sydney, advising clients in both the public and private sector on a wide range of matters including strategy, sustainability issues and carbon abatement opportunities and associated policies. Amandine holds an MBA, as well as a MSc. from Ecole Polytechnique (France) and a MSc. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).
